A curated one-year entry lane for pre-seed builders shaping the future of communications
The next wave of communications and AI will not be built only by large incumbents. It will emerge from small teams experimenting at the edge — founders testing new voice models, early-stage developers building agentic systems, university spin-offs rethinking Network APIs, identity, and Intelligent Engagement from first principles.
At CPaaSAA, we want those builders inside the ecosystem early.
That is why we are launching the CPaaSAA Early Innovation Membership — a curated, one-year membership designed specifically for genuinely early-stage companies.
This is not a discounted version of standard membership. It is a structured bridge for pre-seed innovators who are building something meaningful but are not yet in a position to commit to a full €5,000 membership.
Who This Is For
This tier is reserved for truly early-stage companies. Pre-seed or very early seed startups. Small founding teams, often under ten people. University spin-offs or technically driven ventures that are still refining product-market fit.
It is intended for companies with limited or no external funding — teams that are focused on building product, not running marketing campaigns.
If your company is well-funded, commercially scaling, or able to justify standard membership, this is not the right tier. Early Innovation Membership exists for those who genuinely cannot yet afford full membership, but whose innovation deserves to be part of the conversation.
A One-Year Bridge, Reviewed Annually
Early Innovation Membership is granted for one year.
At the end of that year, we review participation, contribution, company progress, and ecosystem fit. If the company has raised funding or moved beyond early stage, we expect an upgrade to standard membership.
This is a bridge — not a permanent discounted category.
It is designed to support early builders at the right moment in their journey.
Pricing
The annual fee is €1,000, paid upfront.
The price is intentionally low — but not free.
Free attracts noise.
€1,000 creates commitment.
If a startup cannot justify €1,000 to join a strategic ecosystem connected to telcos, CPaaS leaders, analysts, and long-term innovation partners, the timing may not be right.
Clear Positioning
Early Innovation Members are clearly identified as such. They are listed in a distinct category on the CPaaSAA website and recognized as early-stage builders.
Transparency protects the integrity of the broader membership structure.
If your company prefers not to be identified as early-stage, this tier is not the right fit.
What Early Innovation Members Receive
The core benefit of this membership is structured participation.
Members are expected to join and actively contribute to at least one CPaaSAA Working Group. This is the primary value exchange for the reduced fee. The goal is not passive visibility but active involvement — sharing experiments, early use cases, technical insights, and learning from experienced operators and analysts.
Early Innovation Members also gain access to The Inner Circle analyst sessions and have opportunities to contribute to research and white papers. Promising case studies may be included in the CPaaSAA Case Directory.
Members are invited to CPaaSAA events, including CASA in Amsterdam, and receive a 50% discount on the regular ticket price. If selected as a speaker or official contributor, a complimentary pass will be provided. Speaking opportunities are curated and merit-based.
This tier is about contribution and integration — not promotion.
Connection to the Broader Innovation Ecosystem
CPaaSAA is building a broader innovation and capital ecosystem in collaboration with strategic partners.
Early Innovation Members gain proximity to that ecosystem through participation in innovation roundtables, curated demo sessions, structured feedback discussions, and innovation scouting conversations.
This does not guarantee funding or investment.
It provides access to a serious environment where innovation is evaluated, challenged, and accelerated over time.
Hackathons, Ideation & Partner Programs
We are actively collaborating with partners running hackathons, university innovation programs, ideation challenges, and early-stage accelerators.
In selected cases, winners of these programs may be offered an Early Innovation Membership as part of their follow-on support. We also invite CPaaSAA members and partners to nominate or sponsor promising early-stage companies.
At €1,000 per year, this tier provides a practical way to support early innovation while maintaining ecosystem quality and commitment.
Selection & Discretion
Early Innovation Membership is curated and subject to approval.
Each expression of interest is reviewed carefully to assess stage, funding level, product seriousness, ecosystem relevance, and constructive intent. Acceptance is at CPaaSAA’s discretion.
Our objective is long-term ecosystem strength and meaningful participation — not volume.
A Builder’s Lane
This is not a marketing package. It is not a shortcut to publicity.
It is a one-year entry lane for founders and small teams who are serious about building, contributing, learning, and growing into the ecosystem.
If you are early, resource-constrained, and working on something meaningful in communications and AI, we would like to hear from you.

My lifetime in IT and telecoms has been dedicated to innovation, building bridges and creating change. From the early days of cloud communications to working with operators on innovations and business development, and currently emphasizing APIs, CPaaS/CX and AI, my journey has been one of continuous evolution.
As founding partner at CPaaS Acceleration Alliance and The Next Cloud I'm privileged to help global telcos and techcos thrive in a fast changing world - through events, community building, strategy and global business development. I thrive on challenges and change, strategizing in cloud communications, and bringing people together for mutual success. Travel and continuous learning are my passions.
I believe the global communications industry is pivoting to prioritize customer experience and impactful solutions over mere technology and platforms, and we can tackle societal challenges by merging the strengths of corporates and innovators within new ecosystems.
